Joint Message From Superintendents of Seneca High School/Seneca Grade School
July 16, 2021
Good afternoon. This message is a joint message from the Superintendents of Seneca High School and Seneca Grade School.
We have been working together, in coordination with our Boards of Education, to plan the
2021-22 school year based upon the long-anticipated release of updates from the CDC, IDPH, and ISBE.
As you know, our districts fought to offer an in-person learning experience for our students and families last school year, without interruption, a feat of which we are all very proud. It is our intention to continue to provide an outstanding educational experience based upon thoughtful reflection, with clear guidance from our attorneys, insurance providers, and in collaboration with our health departments.
Given the current guidelines and our own local context and preparation, each Board of Education and Administration is preparing to offer a full day in-person learning experience again that allows for flexibility and local control. We will each be providing further information as soon as we are able to carefully and responsibly vet our plan.
