2021 Virtual High School Art Show at The Exibit Fine Art Center and Gallery in Morris, Illinois
At the start of 2nd semester nine Seneca students submitted artwork to the 2021 Virtual High School Art Show at The Exibit Fine Art Center and Gallery in Morris, Illinois. In the past, the show has been held at The Exibit Gallery in Morris. However, the show was moved online for all area high school participants this year due to Covid. Seneca was one of 6 high schools with participating students this year. The virtual high school show had 37 total students submit 44 individual pieces of art.
Participants from Seneca High School included Airianna Wierzbicki (Freshman), Jolena Odum (Freshman), Madison Applebee (Freshman), Kaitlyn Higgins (Sophomore), Stephanie Bernhard (Sophomore), Sierra Culbertson (Sophomore), Reese Sanburg (Senior), Lina Noonan (Senior), and Marlene Pichardo (Senior). All students were invited to be part of the 2021 Virtual Art Show.
Congratulations to Freshman Jolena Odum for getting 3rd place overall on her painting entitled Skyy. Also, congratulations to Senior Lina Noonan for getting 1 of the 2 honorable mentions for her black and white painting entitled “Thank You Wowaka.” Both Paintings are pictured below.
