The 2025 SHS Homecoming Dance will be held on September 27, 2025! There will be many activities throughout the week, starting with Powder Puff on Sunday, September 21st. Dance tickets are $25 for a single/$50 for a couple and can be purchased in the Main Office between 9/15-9/24. Come out, show your spirit, and help us make this Homecoming week one to remember! #TheSenecaWay #IrishPride ☘️

The 2025 SHS Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 27th.
Friday night the Cross Country team hosted the 31st annual Twilight in the Woods Invitational at the Land Lab. The girls team finished 3rd overall with Lily Mueller medaling in 7th place. Talia Jenkins and Lila Coleman were also in the top 20 finishing 17th and 19th respectively. The boys team finished 5th overall and had two in the top 25---Callum Wright 22nd and Liam Baima 24th. All runners did outstanding with numerous PRs. Congratulations! #IrishPride ☘️

Sophomore Ava Douglas was named the Success at SHS winner this week.
The Fighting Irish Golf team was home on Thursday at The Creek against Morris and Coal City. Seneca shot a 173, finishing behind Morris (168) but defeating Coal City (182). Junior Cooper Thorson (38) led the way for the Irish. The team will be in action again next Friday at Dwight. #IrishPride ☘️

Last night the XC team competed in the 2nd Annual Ottawa Pirate Nautical Mile Relay Race. The girls had a strong performance, finishing 1st as a team, with Lily Mueller and Talia Jenkins coming in 2nd, Julie Mueller and Lila Coleman finishing 3rd, and Ruthie Steffes and Taylor Schaefer finishing 12th. The boys also ran well, finishing 2nd, only 5 points behind the 1st place team of Ottawa. Callum Wright and Brady Fort finished 5th overall, Liam Baima and Alex Zydron 8th, and Jaxson Finch and Landon Hebel 9th. The team will compete again this Friday, September 5th at the Land Lab at 4:00. Congratulations to both teams! #IrishPride ☘️

The Lady Irish Volleyball team left Roanoke-Benson with a win last night, defeating the Rockets in straight sets, 27-25, 25-15! Graysen Provance tallied 11 kills, while Tessa Krull and Brooklyn Sheedy added 7 kills each. Emma Mino also dished out 22 assists in the win . The team will compete again in the Wilmington Tournament on Saturday @ 8:00 AM. Keep it up Lady Irish! #TheSenecaWay #IrishPride ☘️

The Lady Irish Volleyball team defeated Roanoke-Benson in two sets last night.
Last night at Indian Creek Golf Course in Fairbury, the Lady Irish Golf team posted a team score of 194, defeating El Paso (198) and Prairie Central (228). Junior Piper Stenzel (43) was the medalist for the match. The team will next be home @ The Creek against Dwight on Tuesday! ☘️
