Looking forward to seeing our future Lady Irish on July 8-10th! Feel free to text or email Coach Champene with any questions.

Week 2 was another great week for our ESY program! Monday we worked with Donna from Garden Creations to make planters for the students to take home. Tuesday was busy with a visit from Mrs. Maierhofer’s cat Lil’ Bear and then making tye-dye shirts with Main Street Tees! Wednesday our very own Mrs. Sandeno came in and made a special painting with us to celebrate Flag Day on Friday! Then to wrap up the week we went back to work at the 252 and then got to tour two boats downstairs thanks to the generous staff. Summer is flying by!

Saturday, June 7th - FREE Shopping Day Sponsored by the Seneca High School Conservation in Action Club at the Seneca Historical Guild at 431 N Main Street. Stop in and check it out!

Mrs. Keinath is running our Extend School Year (ESY) program this summer and they have had a great first week!
On Monday while doing our active movement time outside, we picked strawberries outside of the Ag shop (thank you Mr. Maierhofer for planting these!). On Tuesday we worked with Mrs. H to create sea creatures and then had a tour about how SHS runs with our own Jim, Joe, and Bob! Wednesday we went to the Streator movie theater and had a private showing of Lilo & Stitch! Then on Thursday we went to work at the 252 and learned great employment skills!

Please start making your appointments for next school year! Health requirements are listed below. For full information, see the "Student Health/Immunizations" page under Student/Parent services on the school website.
Thank you!

At Seneca High School we are always excited to hear about the great feats of our graduates. Recently in The Seneca Way Magazine, we highlighted the many SHS students who are graduating college with their Bachelor's Degrees in under 4 years thanks to our robust Dual Credit Junior College Course offerings. If you have proud alum news to share, please share them with our Guidance Department!
Today, we highlight the achievement of SHS Graduate Collin Wright, of Central College who was recently recognized for academic scholarship.

Seneca High School has recently changed school website providers to Apptegy. The website domain will remain the same (www.senecahs.org) but there is also a new app that can be downloaded on iOS or Android. The app features a live feed and events calendar that will allow community members to see all Seneca High School communications in one place and to personalize notifications they receive based on their interests. We are very excited for this new tool and think it will be much easier to keep track of your students from just the press of a button!
