WALK OFF 💣
The Fighting Irish took it to extras on Tuesday night, walking off in style for a 7-6 VICTORY over the Roanoke-Benson Rockets! The Fighting Irish drew first blood on a Landyn Ramsey RBI double in the 1st. After the Rockets surged ahead, Jace Mitchell cleared the bases with a 3-run HOME RUN in the 5th to retake the lead. Brady Haines did a great job of settling in on the mound, followed by 2 innings of shutout baseball in relief by Wyatt Holman.

After Cam Shriey retired the side in the top of the 8th, Landyn Ramsey called game with a MOONSHOT over the train tracks! It was nice to see the bats stay hot with 14 total hits on the night. The team will be in action again TONIGHT at Woodland, with first pitch set for 3:00 PM. Great win, boys! #RollShrocks ☘️

The Seneca Bass Fishing team had a tough day on the water on Sunday. Our team was out fishing in the Des Plaines River ICASSTT tournament. After rough waters, cold temperatures and some rain, Max Mancuso and Chris Thompson were able to weigh in 1 fish for 1.5 pounds which put them in 35th place out of 60, and Addison Mann and Landon Hebel also had 1 fish at 12 ounces for 43rd place. Way to brave the elements and still pull out some fish! #IrishPride ☘️

The Fighting Irish Baseball Team was on the road Saturday morning for a TCC match-up in Granville, picking up a gutsy 11-10 VICTORY over the Putnam County Panthers in 9 innings. In a game that featured 6 lead changes, the Fighting Irish continued to find a way to scrape runs across, scoring in all but 2 innings played. The Irish were not perfect defensively but were able to make difficult plays when it mattered most. Seniors Jace Mitchell and Landyn Ramsey did enough to keep the Irish in the game on the mound before freshman Grady Hall threw the final 3.2 innings of no-hit baseball to get the win in relief. The team will be back in action at home on Tuesday against Roanoke-Benson. Way to battle, Irish! #RollShrocks ☘️
