The Seneca Lady Irish Volleyball Team will host St. Bede on Oct. 8th for our annual Volley for a Cure fundraiser. All proceeds from t-shirt sales, baked goods, raffles, etc., will go to Wigs For Kids in memory of Laura Yegge. Wigs For Kids was very helpful to Laura and provides services to many children in need during a variety of medical struggles, including those undergoing chemotherapy.

We will also recognize the parents of some of our student/athletes in the volleyball program who are fighting their own battles with cancer. Following their recognition, we will invite everyone wearing this year's Volley For a Cure t-shirt over to the bleachers beneath the jumbotron for a photograph and show of support to each of these women who hope to help others by sharing their experiences, and to honor the memory of Laura Yegge.
