On Monday, we had the honor of distributing our third annual Thanksgiving basket program. With the community partnership, SHS students, and SHS staff, we were able to feed 84 families, totaling 391 individuals in need this Thanksgiving. We owe a big thank-you to our sponsors, listed below.
Mrs. Keinath's transition classroom was incredibly helpful with the program, as they helped fill the boxes for the families with all of the correct food items. Mrs. Foster's accounting class was a huge help in dividing 500 pounds of potatoes and in moving all the completed boxes from the auditorium, where Mrs. Keinath's class assembled them, to the cove for pick-up and deliveries.
We are proud of our students for their participation, volunteerism, and generosity. Seneca is a great community where we all come together, and we are excited to see this program continue in the future!
