Student Survey on the Use of iPads

Students in the iPad pilot project were surveyed after they had been using them for 2 months. These are the questions asked and their responses. The number after the the question represents questions where students were asked to rate the questions on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being low and 5 being high. A score of 3.55 would be on the positive side of the middle 2.5 score.

How did this experience improve your learning experience and any other comments you would like us to consider?
- it helped because it is very easy to use
- It helped because they aren’t as slow as the laptops
- its a lot easier to work and use then the tiny laptops that we have because you don’t hit like 5 keys at once
- it made class easier
- it made work more enjoyable and it was nice to be able to listen to the news.
- It could be distracting to some people because you can just start playing games on the iPad during a lesson, but for different projects, its really nice.
