Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for your patience as we prepare the Seneca High School 2021-2022 school year.
Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order Mandate on August 4, 2021, combined with ever evolving CDC, IDPH, and ISBE guidance changes necessitated modifications to our Plans. As you know we passed a Board of Education Resolution on July 21st, 2021 along with a Plan. Please know that our Plan may continually evolve as additional mandates, rules, and regulations are forced upon us.
The Plan attempts to meld input from parents and teachers with the guidance documentation from state sources. The Plan prioritizes in-person instruction for all. Seneca High School was one of the few state of Illinois schools to operate the 2020-21 school year uninterrupted by school closure and we are very proud of that feat. We are excited to welcome ALL students again in 2021-22. Please read the Plan carefully before making any instructional/learning decisions.
