John Ourth Student Recognition Breakfast 2020

Seneca High School students were recognized at the Starved Rock Region Illinois Principals Association annual John Ourth Student Recognition Breakfast on February 20th.  The students honored were Mara Bruno and Thomas Cahill.

The Starved Rock IPA dedicates the breakfast in memory of John Ourth, who helped the Starved Rock Region of the Illinois Principals Association begin the annual student recognition event. The breakfast became an annual event in 2007 because of the encouragement and leadership of Ourth.

The students who are honored at the yearly breakfast possess the same traits that made Ourth an outstanding leader and role model for others. Students are recommended by their school based on character, citizenship, leadership skills and scholarship as well as possessing the potential to make a difference in the world.
