National Honor Society Candlelight Ceremony
The Seneca High School National Honor Society inducted new members at a candlelight ceremony on March 13th. New members include Kohl Babcock, Jacob Brown, Thomas Cahill, Hannah Daggett, Emma Elias, Monica Groth, Natalya Hatfield, Arberita Jashari, Anna Roseland, Lauren Silvola, and Trevor Till. Chapter President Isaac Brockman welcomed initiates, members, and guests. He also led the initiates in the NHS pledge. Other officer presentations included Molly Baker on character, Maggie Cade on leadership, Carissa Simon on service, and Andrea Cruise on Scholarship. Mrs Ferguson presented awards to our top tutors: Molly Baker, Megan Neimann, and Isaac Baker. Then, Mrs Ferguson was recognized as an honorary chapter member. Senior members displayed their talents with a Special Occasion Speech by Isaac Brockman, a piano piece by Joey Thomas, and a Humorous Duet by AJ Baker and Mark Mehochko.
2000 SHS graduate Dr Holly Brockman was the guest speaker. She congratulated students and encouraged them to never give up even when things get hard. She mentioned her own path to success and how it was not easy.
