Making the Move to PowerSchool Unified Classroom

After spring break in March we will be transitioning away from BlackBoard to using Powerschool Unified Classroom. We currently use PowerSchool for our in-house grading system. PowerSchool Unified Classroom will add the functionality of BlackBoard into one single sign on.  In the past students would have to check PowerSchool for missing and upcoming assignments and then log into BlackBoard to complete them. When we complete this transition, both you and your student will sign into one program to see all grades, attendance, missing/current/future assignments.  The best feature of Powerschool Unified Classroom is that this one program will not only allow your student to work on assignments for classes but also send/receive direct messages through PowerSchool to and from their teachers. As Parent/Guardian you too will be able to send messages to and from your student’s teachers.

Students, Teachers and Parents will see a different screen after spring break.  We will be sending out a short training video to all Parents/Guardians sometime in March to instruct you on how to use the new PowerSchool Unified Classroom.  Below is a sample video of what you can expect as a Parent/Guardian:
