Band is an instrumental ensemble performance class focused on musical, technical, and intellectual growth through exposure to music from a variety or historical periods and cultures.  Students will perform as a concert band, marching band, and pep band with the added opportunity of joining the jazz band and playing in the spring musical pit orchestra if they desire to do so. The SHS Band helps to promote Irish Pride with its outstanding performances at school activities and community events.
