Welcome to Mr. Stecken's Classroom Webpage. On this page you will find news about the different classes that I teach including homework assignments, lecture notes, and random pieces of information or news. For extra credit all students can try to solve the following riddle:

World Geography (3A, 2B, 3B) News, Assignments, and Notes:
News: In this unit we will explore current trends in Asia. Topics discussed will be terrorism, United States foreign policy in the Asia, military history in China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and growing trends in the Asia today.

- Tech Tip: When printing power point notes, instead of printing 1 slide per page, change the dropbox to "handouts" and print 3 or 6 per page to save paper.
Current Issues (2A) Projects:
- Currently we are working in the US foreign policy unit. Topics discussed will include immigration, the United States as an "international police force," and recent American relations in the Middle East, the Cold War, etc.

Recent highlights to the life of Mr. Stecken:
1. This just in, the lovely Mrs. Stecken and Mr. Stecken welcome into the world, Camryn Lee Stecken on April 30th, 2008. On this same day, the Chicago Cubs defeated their rival, the Milwaukee (Algonquin for "The Good Land") Brewers 19-5. It was a beat down, much like Mr. Brown meets Old Country Buffet.
