Still Looking for those Missing Years...

The SHS Media Center is still looking for a few missing After Glow yearbooks. A yearbook donation for the years of 1964, 1965, 1966, and 1973 would all be most appreciated. If we are able to acquire the missing yearbooks, we will have a complete set of SHS yearbooks that began in 1940 up to the latest issue of 2007. We were told that there were no issues of 1941, 1943 & 1946 due to lack of funding from the effects of the Depression Era.
Also being sought out…Coach Doug Evans is interested in any information that can be obtained about the early history of the Seneca High School Boys Basketball Teams. We have some old photos of the 1925 through 1938 teams…but we would like to see more highlights about the teams, for example: the actual year the SHS basketball team first began, the coaches names, and win/loss records for any and all teams up to 1948. (Especially desired is any information pertaining to championship games prior to 1950.) We have bits and pieces but would like to have a more accurate account. An eventual scrapbook of all SHS basketball facts and statistical information is the desired result of this research. If anyone has a relative with information from this time period, or knows of resources that could fill the gap (old basketball programs, newspaper articles, etc.) it would be most helpful.
Please send any helpful information regarding yearbooks and/or items related to the early boys’ basketball history to:
