SHS Art Club Enters a Local High School Art Show
On Friday, March 8, thirteen students from Seneca’s art club entered their artwork into The Exibit Gallery’s annual High School art show. The Exibit Gallery is located in Morris and their art show was open to all high school students in the surrounding area that were interested in participating. The participating students from Seneca were: Spencer Williams, Jada Krueger, Victoria Lavarier, Zoe Noonan, Emma Claudin, Shawnee Gans, Nicole Biros, Lina Noonan, Abby Taylor, Jessica Daggett, Megan Potter, Hailey Kennedy, and Angelina Scarpaci. These students entered a total of 26 individual pieces into the show in the categories of photography, drawing, painting, and mixed media. Two students from Seneca ended up taking home large ribbons and a handful of other honors were given to SHS students:
#1 Abby Taylor – 3rd place ribbon for her landscape oil painting
#2 Spencer Williams – The people’s choice award ribbon (voted on by all attendees of the opening gala) for his Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn diptych drawing.

Spencer Williams – Vivid Imagination Award for his Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn Diptych drawing

Jada Krueger – Creating Atmosphere Award
The Exibit Gallery will continue to display the high school artwork from the show until the end of March. It is located at 315-A Bedford Road in Morris and is generally open Fridays (11 AM – 5 PM) and Saturdays (10 AM – 4 PM).
