School Security Update
School officials met with the Seneca Police Department this morning to discuss the Facebook post that has impacted schools nationwide. Seneca PD is providing increased patrols and supervision to the school as a precaution, but has confirmed that the FBI investigated this threat, which originated out of the state of Ohio. We will continue to be vigilant in our efforts to provide a safe and secure school environment.

Dear Seneca High Families,
We have been made aware of a social media post from an individual named “Ray Andres” threatening violence at “SHS”. The post has gone viral, as schools throughout the nation with the abbreviation of “SHS” have been affected. At this time, there is no evidence to suggest a threat to Seneca High School. We are working with the Seneca Police Department to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff and are aware that the FBI is investigating the matter as originating in another state. We take all reports relative to school safety seriously and thank you for your support and cooperation.
