School Bus Driver Needed
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMVK Transportation Services is looking to hire school bus drivers for MVK, Seneca Grade School, and Seneca High School.
Currently, they are subs.
For the 2017-2018 School year, they will need 3-4 route drivers. Sub drivers will be given preference in filling route positions. The busses run out of lots in Mazon and Seneca, providing service to all three schools.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- 21 years old
- No break in driver's license in the past 3 years
- Pass Criminal Background Check
- Pass a Physical Examination and TB test
- Pass a Drug and Alcohol test
After all of the above requirements are met, the applicant must next attend an 8 hour Initial Illinois School Bus Driver Course at an approved location. The applicant will be provided onsite training for the CDL Class B license with a School Bis and Passenger Endorsement. This includes study guides for the written tests and test prep for the written examination at the Secretary of State's Office.
After completing the initial Illinois School Bus Driver Course, MVK Transportation Services will provide "Behind the Wheel" training. Upon successful completion of the "Behind the Wheel" training, MVK Transportation Services will schedule your road test for completion of CDL Class B license with a School Buss and Passenger endorsement.
