Newark 2 (Soph) Comments

Our second game of the year versus Newark was a solid win for us. We played well on the offensive scoring 59 points, which is by far our biggest point total of the year. More importantly, we started to show signs of improvement on the defensive end. A few lapses here and there caused us to give up a few easy baskets but we were still able to hold them to 27 points for the game. I thought the guys were ready to play against the Norsemen and gave a good effort through the entire game. Another tough game lies ahead at home on Friday against Manteno.
