GAME #3: (W) SENECA 44 Plano 42 (Double OT)
Yet another close game for us, this one going all the way into double overtime before we were able to come away with a win. After battling through another slow start, we came back from 6 down at halftime to tie the game at 36 at the end of regulation. With 10 seconds to go in the 2nd overtime, Logan Pifer missed two free throws with the game tied. Not to be deterred, Logan proceeded to steal the ball from the Plano point guard with 5 seconds to go and went in and scored the game winning lay-up at the buzzer as he was fouled. It was a hard-fought win and puts us in the 5th place game for a re-match with our first opponent of the year, Somonauk.
