Coal City (Frosh) Comments

We continued to show improvement from our first couple games. Only giving up 10 points is never the result of one individual, but rather a team effort. We pressured the ball well, particularly on the perimeter, where Yaggi Pifer and Jimmy David played solid D yet again. On offense we did a decent job of being patient against Coal City’s 1-2-2 zone. Our players only made a few turnovers. It was a solid team victory, and I was happy to see everyone’s effort and intensity at a high level. Brian Bergeson led all scorers for the second week in a row with 11 points.
